HELLO:
Hello and welcome to our beautiful, sunny island Malta. We are an English speaking family of 5 who have been hosting students for the past 3 years and we would like to welcome you to our modern 4 storey home by the sea in Pembroke.

FAMILY:
I am Suzanne, an Experienced CAMBRIDGE CELTA/TEFL/TELT teacher of English. I am Australian and we teach and host children and adults.
My husband, Noel,is a B.Ed.(Hons) Physics teacher who teaches at St Clare's College. Our daughter Nicole, aged 23, is a University student who is also an experienced TEFL teacher of English. She has been teaching English in summer for the past 3 years.Our son Nathan,24, is a university student.Our youngest daughter, Hannah, is 15 years old .She is very friendly and loves the companionship of our students.

ACCOMMODATION:
We offer our guests a single bedroom or a twin bedroom which both have balconies that enjoy beautiful sea views. Both bedrooms are furnished with marble flooring and solid wood furniture as we believe our guests should only be given the best. Fresh towels are provided and bed linen is changed once a week. Laundry service is twice a week.These services are included in the price.

AREA:
In Malta, the English language is considered as one of its official languages. We live in Pembroke which is a quite residential near the sea, The beach is just a few minutes walk away from our home. There are also exciting coastal walks for those who like walking or jogging. For those that like to be in a busy tourist resort you will find St Julian's Bay and St George's Bay which are just a short walk from our home. In George's Bay you will find a sandy beach, cinemas, bowling ally, bars, restaurants and a lovely promenade.

LESSONS :
Our 10 hours a week of ONE-TO-ONE lessons are personalised for your specific level of English and for your own personal needs.
We are experienced in teaching beginners to advanced students, whether for school, exam preparation or just to improve your English for communication.Notes and worksheets are all provided. Some homework and writing is given on a daily basis. Maximum of 3 guests.
A Certificate of Attendance is given to all guests.

4 Free Cultural Activities with a family member:
Students who stay with us for 2 weeks will have the opportunity to go to:
★A guided tour of the capital city Valletta and sightseeing to the Palaces and majestic Grand Harbour. Valletta is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE.
★The magnificent Blue Grotto and boat trip to the crystal clear water of the Blue Grotto. Boat ride included.
★Hagar Qim and Mnajdra megalithic temple complex built (about 4000 BC) These Prehistoric temples are also a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. Visual film and Audio guide included.
★Imdina the fortified, medieval capital city situated in the centre of the island. At Imdina we also try the traditional Maltese food - pastizzi.

Price includes:
Full-board Accommodation including 3 meals a day,
10 hours of one-to-one English lessons
4 FREE cultural tours for guests staying for 2 weeks and all taxes are included in the price. No extras. Just book the flights!!
