The best of our neighborhood it's the security. Cayma is safe. We are close to the Av. Cayma and Av. Ejercito (10 min walking), where you can find lots of store, supermarkets, restaurants, shopping malls, movies, etc. If you want to go the downtown, that takes you 15 min with taxi or 30 min walking.
There are a lot of public transportation in Av. Ejercito and Av. Cayma. The prices are very cheap in these "combis". Maybe not so comfortable for European size, but cheap. There are also taxi, but I will rather you to call a taxi from home or to use the Easy Taxi app. Taxis are sometimes not very safe.
